Attendance

Now with 5 raids since we deside to make a attendance requirement you can start to see who is not going to meet the requirement.
 
This people can not meet the requirement even if they show up tonight:
Goreandor
Mjolner
Sebas
Aloha
Asmoden
Priori
Shadowscream
Oshun (do have announce vacation in this period)
Collinn (do have announce vacation in this period)
Ringspun (do have announce vacation in this period)
Tlor (do have announce vacation in this period)
Odesa (do have announce a work issues problem)
Mirriana (do have announce a internet problem)
 
I do not have found anything on the first 7 person in the forum about why they don't come/show up.
 
The list can get bigger after tonight run because several people lies close to the limit.
 
I can see we deside to introduce this requirement but not what the consequence was supposed to be if someone did not meet the requirement (I may overlook it somewhere so please tell me what is it).
But here is my 2 cent about it:
I think a good way to do it, is to give people a warning by ingame mail where we tell them to do better the next 2 weeks or we will have to demote them(I will gladly be the man to take care of this).

Didnt we agree that the attendence would run for 2 months before we could get some accurate measurings from it? - Im not quite sure about this?
 
Severel on this list are also newcomers. For example Ringspun, Shadowscream.
 
Isent 6 raids a bit fast, should we wait untill everyone has been given the chance? (new members and so forth) - Then it will also show more clearly who goes out.
 
GD the action against those not meeting req, would imo be getting a PM and then demoted to soldier status, because they are aware of the attendence req. - So not much fuss here, if you dont show up your out.
 
But again isent 6 raids a bit fast, when attendence is still kinda new req for rg2?
Tho I can see at least one on the list who promised when asked 6 raids ago, thet he would meet req. which he hasent.

we monitored over 8 weeks (23 raids i think it was) but atm i wouldnt make to many demotes, since its vacation season (right now we could demote 3/4 of RG1 or so)

Agree Bastet - In denmark it's on the peak of vacation season, and the weather is sooooOO HOT! :blink:  Two primary factors keeping people away from their passion - WoW.

But I am surprice by you saying 6 raids is to little to base this on, the requirement is 4/6 and not 4/8 - 4/10 or more. In my understanding that's mean you will have to look in to the last 6 raids and nothing more or less.

As for newbis:
Shadowscream Accepted 6th june 06 more then 6 raids ago.
Ringspun & Tlor was accept as defender 6 weeks ago but do have announce vacation in this period so there is no problem with them.

well... its mostly so that members know they are beeing watched, and since you currently dont have a big attendance problem, id leave it for now, and when rg1 demoted, we only demoted 2ppl that didnt make attendance by a LONG shot

Priori is on vacation atm and I think I read (maybe not in the right thread) that Mjolner also have been on vacation for about 2 weeks (he's back by the way). Asmoden has been working in him and Jariuna' appartment in Copenhagen.
 
I think we have to see attendance based on a longer period due to the summer vacation, and before we start demoting people, we should give them one more try by writing them an In-Game mail where we state that they have bad attendance.

Yup, that means that i most likely wont be joining next weeks monday & thursday.
But i'm gonna check out if the computer up there is capable of playing WoW on. ( a small glimmer of hope is twinkling in my eyes )
