Just looking over the Unofficial Aszune forum on how we are along compared to other Guilds, and I must admit I am quite proud to see us as far up. I believe we have also cought up abit considering we started late, and with only 3 raid nights. To bad we don't get points for being the coolest huh? 8)

The listed are the guilds and what bosses they are on in AQ40. Above these guilds are Righteous, Anything, Past Redemtion and Singularity.

Well, as I said in Tuesday night there are only 3 Alliance Guilds that have gone further than us in AQ40: Righteous, Anything and COC.  And we're catching them.  When you think how much these three Guilds raid compared to us I think we do a damn fine job - and that's why we receive about 80 applications to join us every month (the vast bulk of which are turned down to help preserve SOG for existing SOGers).

Proud of SOG?  Damn right I'm proud and we've every reason to be.

Well, our latest shift in focus away from MC and doing BWL/AQ40/AQ40 weekly is gonna pay of real quick i bet.

SOG is one of the best (if not the best) guild on the server, mixing good and intelligent raiding with a lot of humor and spirits. Not a lot of guilds has that privelige. Most of the best guilds raid a lot more than we do, and they are typically not even allowed to say anything on the TS. Now where is the fun in that?

The day SOG is no longer a fun place to be, is the time i quit WOW. I would never leave SOG for any other guild, as the team spirit here is too good and cool.

SOG FOREVER!

Aye, vivala SoG. I didn't join from the beginning, but I am in SoG for almost a year now, and it's damn fine here.

And, I looked at the Twin Emperor's movies posted here: http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=15974
and I hope everyone does that. Watch it a few times and analyze it. Switch seems pretty easy, and once we have that under control, we should have him down real quick. I even dare to say we can beat all other guilds that or on him to it. Especially if you are a warrior or warlock check the movie out.

Bob let me quote my favorite band of all time called Pet Shop Boys, and this one goes directly to BOB from the Song called "Opportunities (Let's make lots of money)"

"I've got the brains, you got the looks.... lets make lots of money"

Get the picture now big boy? 8)

LOL, Pet Shop Boys.. :narnar:

Anyways, just sitting around at home, so i might as well just write that i am very happy to be a member of SoG.

I was pretty much a solo player up untill the later lvls of my char.

Joined a danish guild, found a new aspect of the game (the social / helping out / grouping), then joined another danish guild, Northern Guards, and started learning more about my role as a warr.
Before that i was a real nubcake, wich i to some extend probably still am.
For example I didnt even have a shield, and knew nothing about aggro and stuff.
Then alot of us former NG'ers got the great opportunity to join SoG,
(and I thank NG for including me to join SoG, really), and the game just kinda opened a whole lot more for me.
Now i had some kinda goal in the game (raid progression).
Before that i was pretty much running around doing nothing.

And this guild suits me so very fine, with the balance between serious raiding and still having a casual feeling about it. At least thats the way i feel about it.

So all in all: Cheers for Silver Oak Guardians!!! Happy to be a part of it.

I didnt bother with one till lvl 56 or 57. im still in the firm belief that shileds only slow u down in grinding

I agree with Mjolner,

But I think it's logic that you are a different class player till lvl 60..... Now we are raiding classes....a bit different. I cannot even grind cause I do more agro due to healing then doing damage. It's also that you must be  curious about your class.... I can remember that Deadlyspirit invited me on a night so he could play around and find out how CTRaid works....

I learned a lot from all classes due to RL friends, TS, own classes etc.

You alomst see everyone respec when they hit 60 or get into raiding, the job is a different job.

SoG learned me a lot and the read leading is a new thing to experience. It is realy nice to get all the people into the same direction and kill a bos.

And there is much of learning ahead of us....... Getting new talent point makes me think that Blizz has a lot for us

So what you are saying, is that I've got the looks :w00t2:

I can take that as a compliment!
That first part I just choose to ignore :norty:
