i wanna discuss here about what happens last MC with the loot;

this is what happend:

ML recived 2 whispers for a loot( pants of t2 of druids) one of those was Finegas(rg2 member), and Threbrillith( rg1 member);
ML ask on TS( commanders ts) for the priority, and we were discussing about it.
then while we speak finegas wrongly push on Deadlyspirit portal for IF, when ML saw that finegas was not there he automatically gave the loot to BOB( rg1 druid).
then finegas left the guild; after 30 min we reinvited him.
this is what happened that evening.

the rule is that the priority in that case is for rg2 member( finegas) but he accidentally wasn't there.

the rules said that the loot was for rg2, and IMO there were some errors by both sides:

Marshals errors:
1) the loot is for rg2 member so we did't need to discuss about it
2)we did't whispered to rg2 druid to say that he is going to lost the loot, and we could say to him to run back and then summon.

Finegas errors:
1)he touched the portal
2) he did for the hot moment and bad feeling /gqiut

now IMO we need to do this Ticked to Blizzard , explainig we wronged the loot and then they can give the loot to rg2 member.

and i think this is a rg2 issue not rg1 one.

what do you thing about this?
lets discuss:biggrin:

Ubar I waited around to discuss things with you last night but you never showed up on TS.  The loot issue is an RG2 matter when on its own, but when you add to it the infantile reaction with the /gquit then I'm afraid it becomes a Guild matter and something that does involve the FMs.

After discussing what happened with a Marshall and Bastet the conclusion I reached last night as to my preferred cause of action was this:
  • Talk to Ubar about Finegas to find out if this is typical of his attitude and behaviour.  On the basis of this:
  • Have a chat with Finegas on TS to explain that in the normal cause of events when a ML cocks up we ticket a GM to reverse the decision.
  • Explain that as a result of his immediate and infantile reaction (/gquit) before even bothering to talk to anyone about the error and how it might be corrected we now have serious doubts about him.
  • Explain that as a direct result of his reaction we will NOT ticket the GMs for loot redirection (hell, why take loot away from a dependable member and give it to someone who has raised so very many questions about himself at the first opportunity)
  • Explain that we are however prepared to give him a chance to demonstrate his more mature side.
  • Depending upon his reaction to the above then either
  • - allow him to continue as an initiate on the understanding that any similar reactions or behaviour will result in action by FMs, or
  • - if he takes it badly and starts showing more juvenile tendencies then we explain that this is something that cannot be tolerated and immediately provide him with a firm but apologetic /gkick.
If he is prepared to /gquit over a loot error without talking to anyone then if are not firm in the action we take now then we *will* be storing up a problem for the future.  We have more than enough applicants to fill any places in our raid teams and we do not need to carry anyone who is going to be so very childish.

I will try to catch you on TS later to start this discussion.

/agree TL... my thoughts exactly but a lot more nicely put

DarkAngel

I second that will be on TS later as other events on Weekend Cancelled...

Ubar

ok, sorry i did't know that FM was speaking about all of this on TS.

anyway i think the conclusion can be acceptable, only 1 thing:
i said finegas that we will do ticket, so i think we need to tell him that we will not do this for his stupid reaction as /gquit

ok see you in game and in TS

TeaLeaf

That's the plan, see point 4 in my list.

I understand the ML has already cancelled the ticket.

Couldn't have put it better myself. I support TL 100% on this.

You put it well TL, but a bit to late, thus actions have been made. The tickets for the GM has been made - dont know if they have been replied by GM's yet.
But from Ubar I would like to know if this is represintive for his personality? - Because we can do better without him then.

TeaLeaf

The GM ticket has already been cancelled.  According to Ubar Finegas has his 'hot' moments, but he was in the same room as them at the time and it did not stop him.  However, he is also clearly capable of mature behaviour - he is a Doctor and aged about 26.  I am waiting to speak to Finegasd with Ubar and have PM'd Finega sin game to ask for a chat.

Siffredi

Yes this is the conclusion of our chat on TS - and I think its the best benefit for all parties, so lets wait and see what happens.
Siffredi - 60 human warrior
Zentobar - 60 NE rogue
Sirzoidac - 60 human paladin
Sanhomadun- 60 human priest
Nibsen - 60 gnome mage
Digales - 43 gnome warlock
Siffer - 36 NE druid

Sazgul

Aye ok - thanks for the up2date. Im a bit afk this weekend due to loads of work.

Ubar

yeah TL say rightly what from our TS chat is coming out, and yes finegas did that also if he was in the same room with me, backblock, brandir, lovercraft, goldwing, in fact we felt very bad fot that.

anyway see what will happen on TS chat with TL and finegas, and if i can come that moment yes i'll come TL.

TeaLeaf

The talk happened.  After a rocky start he listened and I think understood fully what was being said and will not do this again without expecting heavy consequences.

I suggest that the ML sends a PM to him on these forums apologising for the error and after that I consider the matter closed.  Thank you all for your input.
