yesterday my ping was worse than the usual, i had 8k ms (usual for the last month was 1k) and today winaly i discovered what the hell is wrong with my connection since after a fully format latency isn't better (PC is =P).
Blizzard with the last patch did something with net ports which goes in conflict with something with italian's ISPs ... i hope it will get better soon i'll try to keep playing as much as i can do more than 1 shadow bolt every 20 secs like yesterday

Working as intended.

Warlocks have for quite a while now wanted some way of reducing their aggro. Skilled engineers and developers at Blizzard have now found a way to sufficiantly reduce warlocks aggro and are currently beta testing this 'feature' on their italian players. They have reportedly stated that they choose italy as they wanted to have a calm and patient crowd to test it for them. "We would never try this sort of thing on the US market" said a Blizzard employee. "They got bombs and stuff!"...

I remember a few months ago after a patch I could not connect to WOW at all, everthing else was fine though (browers etc). So I tried using a spare usb broadband modem I had instead of the PCI card I was using and instantly wow started working again.

Akall

Added to what Asheera said the national ISP (Telecom, that provides ALL of the last mile connections to homes) is having some major problems from 2 weeks.
