Is anyone up to date on the Rainbow 6 series type games.

I fancy something a bit more tactical, co-op, as in the Ghost Recon type. Had some good games on that with a couple of friends ages ago.

What's the latest  incarnation and is it worth it, does anyone fancy some co-op stuff?

I've heard something about Armed Assault as being the followup from Operation Flashpoint. Not sure if that's what you mean? Otherwise sorry, I'm not completely in to those kind of games.

I used to play Raven Shield and I believed it was a successor to CS. The co-op mode was particularly good. So I'd be up for that. What's the latest in the series?

The latest Ghost Recon is Advanced Warfighter isn't it? Which is available on PC as well as X360, but I played the demo and found it to be more action-oriented over tactical than the previous 2 games, so you might be better off with GR2 still. Dunno about the Rinbow 6 games. You tried any of the latest SWAT games? They're very tactically oriented aren't they?

I've just checked another forum and they said something about Rainbow Six: Vegas (PC).
This is the first game coming out with the Unreal 3 Engine (except Unreal 3 offcourse :rolleyes: ).
 
@ Doorman, almost all games are about killing, exception: race/flightsims, they're about destruction right? :devil:

I've played the demo of this on the 360 & its pretty good, i'm not sure as to what sorta spec pc you'd need to run it nicely though - Click me for video type action

Last good ones I played were H&D2 and Raven Shield. Oh, and SWAT 4 is worth a look too.

Other than those, they've pretty much been pants. Stay away from R6: Lockdown - it'll make you very sad.
