About 20 mans

Alot of new players are attending 20 Man raids these days. thats not a bad thing as many of em are very good geared in fact.
But they lack knowledge about the fights and that is dragging the raids in the wrong direction.
And overall giving new comers a "worse" experience than needed. i would like to hear you guys opinion on making a request by people to actually prepare themself for the raid they signed up for. that includes Reading the Tactics were needed. apparently alot on Ossirian.
 
 
Just a point ive been wondering.
 
i know Experience is a lot more valuable than reading tactics... but knowledge of the fight cant be underestimated.

Well i expect that ppl read the tactics when attending a raid!

I know i do, especially with RG2, but yes, its needed and expiriencing it is more worth than reading but as you said knowledge about the different abilities can save us more time and a higer sucsess rate.

The tactics readign is something not a lot of people do. And I think all people should do that with every raid.  It's just you cannot obligate them and how are you going to check them whether they did or not.
 
I think all the new people don't even know the way to the forum. It's what with every boss is. The more time you put in the preparation the more progression you make. You know for instance when to back up, or when to do this. Even better it makes you understand and fill in your spot better.
 
 
 
Also the 20 manish is somewhat more relaxing then the RG2 raiding days. People are more like "Oh well let's see".
 
The Ossi fight is pretty simple. Get him on the crystal spot at the right time.....
 
But as mentioned yesterday people need to watch out for the blizzards and they still run into them....

Daedalus, thats very simple to check actually. if you start the fight. and people dunno what to do. well... you do the math.

Yrthal and Luthor we need to come up with an thread on the forum for an extra commander. This will take of the pressure for all of us.
 
I prefer a commander with a lvl 60 alt ...so that he can join the SoG - One raids.... as this is still one of my flaws.....
