A have lvled a lock to, currently, 50, and soon i'm gonna go to more instances.
Up 'till now, i have pretty much just soloed, hopping away putting up DoTs and sucking the life out of mobs, using Succy to put out a little more dps. And it works fine..

But i don't have a whole lot of experience in partys, and none in raids (ofc.. lvl 50.. doh), so a little help as to what role, spec and so on, would be very appreciated.

So any usefull guides that you may know of and such, are taken in with open arms.

Yes, I know i could just go look at the forums on wow-europe.com and such, and i have.. (at least skimmed it)
But if you know of any particular good guide etc, please point me to it. Personal advice also accepted..

Well! UBRS/LBRS,strat,scholo etc. Specc MD/ruin. Because your pets and direct dammage spells will play a much larger part in the raid, simply because trash (thats like, 80% of an instance:P) will die to fast before you get dots up.
