problems

Hi.
i just bought 2142. and when i run it, it will alt tab me to windows. and it will do so every time i go into the game again. i get a bit of sound and i've seen the robot thingye in load screen.. i've also updated the game to 1.25
i can post my easyinfo here if you ppl can have a look at it and maybe help me:

just a guess ... but does bf2142 have the same resolution/frequency setting problem that bf1942 and bf2 had? videocon.con file setting or something? Though that usually just blackscreens and jumps back to windows.

And Spiritus, did you add yourself yesterday with the name EDDster or something?

NP, I had the same problem. Sounded familiar when I forget to put F@H off.
Let me know if you need anymore help.

Ive just re-installed BF2 today, and had exactly the same problem as Spiritus. Turning off fixed F@H it right up, thanks allot Duvel! :thumbsup2: Played for a while with GM, twas great fun. So if you guys are ever interested, I don't mind being shot at. BTW, how/why did F@H keep minimizing the game and then completely ruin the textures in the game menu?

Sorry dude, I don't know why it minimizes.
I only know F@H is the problem.
It probably has something to do with F@H using the memory that you don't use or such.
 
BTW, type your name in the other thread about BF2142 names and the rest.
