:g: Not sure I am in the right place for this post but here goes anyway.

My retail copy of Counter-Strike:Source came with the WW2 fps know as Day Of Defeat:Source. I believe many of you have played this at some point. I decided to install it yesterday and I was surprised how enjoyable the game was. Although like many CS:S frag sites the server's I played on were sadly missing the squad based discipline your servers have in abundance.

I'll get to the point. Would the dMW management consider hosting a one-off Day of Defeat Weekend sometime in the future. Your comments - both good and bad are most welcome. :boxing:  Don't hold back gents!!!!!

We have played it before and it was good fun. I think the server is still setup so I like the idea and think we need to take this further. Good idea PB

I enjoyed it as a break from CS but only back in the 1.6 days. Since HL2 it costs money and I objected to paying for it due to Valve/Steam's rather annoying purchase scheme. Then again I have no time to spend a whole weekend playing anymore :( so go for it

sheepy

just as a suggestion it may be easier to get all those in the community interested to just invade someone else's server at the same time?
