But you still can't heal (and no, bandages doesn't count) :norty:

In full dps gear you cant heal for squat either nubcake, if you can, you have poor dps gear :narnar:

Let's have a competition than - I in my best feral gear and you in your best healing gear - see who can pump out the most healing in, let's say, 30 seconds :boxing:

Good to hear that Nef. Lets do SH or one of the TK instances during the weekend :) . Hopefully we can get some people together.

And I agree with Bob that being in cat is the best way to utilize a feral Druid's potential (and it's also the most fun). You do pretty decent damage, but you can still shift out to battle res, innervate and (to some degree) emergency heal or tank. This is mainly because it's too risky (or is some situations even impossible) to shift out of bear for a BR or innervate while something is beating on you.

Edit: Just read you're post again, it's basicly what you said already :lmfao: .

And yes, I was talking about tanking BM.

@ Bastet:
Rouges do have higher white damage and have some talented special abilities that can boost their DPS, but it isn't that much higher. The scaling part is not true though; Druids scale equally well. The lack of increasing weapon damage is largely compensated by Feral AP (although not entirely) and Druids get twice as much AP per point of stength, which brings the two classes closer together. Also Shred even scales slightly better then any of the Rouges abilities. A Druid with just 2000 AP and 25% crit (which is every Druid with green/blue gear), will be able to sustain over 550 DPS in a fight with an unlimited time by just spamming Mangle, Shred and Rip (after taking mob armor (25%), dodge and miss into account, unmitigated it's about 850 DPS). Rouges will probably do a bit more, but I estimate it's more in the +10-15% region then +25-50%.

Of course, you shouldn't forget about the 5% crit aura with a bit of healing and the +30% bleed damage buff either :norty: .

But I have to say, so far, I've haven't done a single 5 man run in Cat form where I wasn't nr.1 damage. For me aggro is becoming a problem unfortunately, which kind of sucks because I don't have any space left in my bar for Cower  .

Bastet

Yes in a 5 man its not that hard to keep up with rogues, but in a raid they seam to gain more from buffs, and since the tank is hit loads harder the agro roof is higher, and they can go all-out. Also, rogues still have more to bring then just dps, mainly stuns and interupts, which druids lack. On a normal run i would have no problem with druid dps, and have allready done runs with 4-5 druids. But on heroic, id rather have a rogue.

True, Rouges have stuns, interrupts, sap, vanish and stuff. But Cat Druids also have some utility besides DPS, like innervate, battle res, crit aura and so on; plus being able to switch roles between fights.
As for buffs, Rogues may have a slight advantage there, but nothing to dramatic; scaling buffs like BoK work better on Druids though.
A properly geared and buffed raid Druid can easily hit 3k+ AP and 30%+ crit, putting it's DPS close to a 1000 on mobs that aren't bleed immune (no I'm not joking).
I don't know how this matches up against Rogues. They're pretty complex and so far I've been unable to calculate it.

Personally I wouldn't put a Druid in a pure DPS role either, that would be a waste. In heroics the crowd control that a Rogue brings is more important.

Anyway, this isn't really the place to discuss this :narnar: .
