Hi for some reason I got a Z block on Baldric and couldn't get on, still had 3 good hours on Meat hook instead. I did put in console messages but to no avail.
If someone can help reply to this or PM.

cl_restrict_server_commands 0

to your cs:source config.cfg file before joining Baldric or you will be blocked/kicked by zBlock.

I tried to help Sith with this last night. He did put in cl_restrict_server_commands 0. For some reason it still didn't work?

Yeah, he was typing in "cl_restrict_server_commands 0" in the "~" console. But i didn't realise you could do it through other methods. ?

By putting it in your config files.
.cfg
When you type it in console (~) you need to retype it everytime you start up Steam.
So if he typed it in console, restarted Steam he needs to type it again...

Ah rite ok, i see. Seems a bit more logical that. Is this the right file? :

 Steam\SteamApps\\CounterstrikeSource\cstrike\cfg\config

Then just open the .cgf file with notepad and add : cl_server_restrict_commands 0?

Thanks guys ill try direct into the file rather than console..

i did this......Steam\SteamApps\\CounterstrikeSource\cst rike\cfg\config

Then just open the .cgf file with notepad and add : cl_server_restrict_commands 0?
Unfortunately it didn't work, I closed steam down and did it again... and still no luck, the same z_block message comes up.

It worked thanks...............
