The cd's dont copy easily and the nocd patch looks real complex, ...the one I found would replace 10-20 files at least so I'm sticking with putting the cd in everytime.

Anyway, ...right, I had a quick go and once you get the hang of the thing a map is easy to churn out. I made a crappy hilly place and then stuck an island in the middle with a church, windmill and other stuff on it/around it. Scale is a bit hard to know, but then thats normal for most mapping until you've done some. My test map was monstrously hilly and a little over-scaled :D

You can even download my map and have a run round if you start up your own server. http://www.jamena.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/fil...2maps/ben01.zip Theres something about the maps not working on servers unless content checking is off, but it worked on lan. Stick it in your C:Program FilesEA GAMESBattlefield 1942Modsbf1942Archivesbf1942levels folder. should appear at the bottom of the list of maps somewhere. It's absolutely pants, but then it only took 20 minutes or so once I'd worked out the editor slightly :D Next stop... Try make a Desert Combat map with it :D
