In 1999 Reubens came back into the edge of the limelight as a character in the movie Mystery Men where he played "The Spleen", one of a group of wannabe super heroes. He was capable of subduing his adversaries with noxious blasts of "ass perfume".

It's a good film, sometimes turns up on the Sci-Fi channel, an alternative slant on the whole superhero thing.

Indeed, the movie is really funny. Worth watching if you're into weird parody-type films and/or Ben Stiller movies in general.
