In this topic we are going to take a closer look at unusual camp spots on inferno. You can of course find similar spots on other maps but the idea is to get your horizon broadened a bit.

First of all I just want to point out a general thing about inferno and two T routes that end in the same spot. Take a look at the image below. I have marked two routes that both end at bottom of the stairs near the sniper window.



If you are running knife out along both trails you will arrive 3 seconds quicker if you chose the purple route.


Now to some unusual camping spots. First we have this spot close to CT spawn. If you stay in the corner as shown you will not be spotted. CT usually focus further down towards the sniper window area or the bend towards the bombsite.




This spot near sniper window is very nice if you have the time to do a double bunk up. Take two of your friends along and jump on their heads! Works one time but it is definitely worth it!




On the right bombsite there is a good corner that is very dark. You need only one guy to bunk you up and it is a quick move. A silenced colt will do wonders here.





It is not unusual that Ts rush up under the sniper window but sometimes a different attack approach is the way to go. The CTs guarding middle will be very surprised when you come out of the 'covered' sniper window room.

The second part is about where you are in an enlightened position. Yes you are right, we are talking about lamp posts.  


This is how you access the lamp posts.




Here is another example where you don't need any help. Just jump and you will get there.




Here is another example where you are very well hidden.




The final two images are from the middle area. You need two persons for this bunk up if you use the boxes shown in the previous jump to the lamp post image.

I'm pretty sure you can jump straight from the boxes to the light fitting and then on to the roof all on your own here? Or did I mis-understand the instructions?

thats on the old inferno..  new one is differnt


and also.. Never Use a 3 man Boost Illegal in ED..  

you can get a man into the sniper window with 2 men .. on inferno cz

1st man jumps on to the boxes on the left of the window .. the other stands on the first box and stands right on the edge, then the 1st person jumps off the head of your teammate and on to the tiny ledge which is sniper window.

Yeah, these places can be reached with 2 in CZ, due to the addition of lights.

Just want to add that in some leagues and on some servers this is considered cheating as the hitboxes change (to an advantage)  for the player that is on the roof.

That's because you can get on there by jumping yourself...No bumping/jumping what so ever.
