how to execute it?

Should we have mentorship i.e. one student always coupled to the same teacher or circulate the students?

The idea that both teacher and student should join Boomer in spectator mode an both being on a VoIP program like TS2 or Ventrilo I think is the most effective way to do it.

We should also fake situations on the server by joining incognito and creating different levels of havoc. Going from the easy converts to the rotten eggs. Now I also have a second CSS account.

If a student shadows only one mentor then they will start to admin in that mentors style. If we truly want consistency spread across the admins then it would be better to have a few (not all) of the admins shadow a student for a while but to do it in a 1 to 1 situation (ie not 3 admins watching a single student at one go).

the problem this creates for us is that it will probably take more of our time individually and will require us to communicate any weaknesses or strengths about a student to the other admins which obviously takes even more time.

Discuss :)

I think we should have two mentors per student. I don't believe it will take up too much time once the initial training is complete as there won't be that many people going through admin school on a regular basis.  One mentor can do a training session while the other presents "challenges" incognito.  Then swap roles for the next session.

In order to show we are fair, I also think we should trial this by going through admin school ourselves :D
That would also make it easier when it comes to KKND having to go through. A cut down version would be fine for us though:flirty:

I was discussing this with Sadako this morning, how about:
  • Two full admins are assigned to each pupil.
  • The two full admins take turns at being the coach and the test subject.
  • We have up to four training sessions.
  • Candidates can pass after two sessions, if both tutors agree.
  • If they don't meet the standard after four sessions, they are not given admin status (or lose it if they have it).
  • After passing, the Mani Admin will be on probation for one month.
Anything else...feel free to edit this post.

Just had a thought.  It would be good if we could have a new sub forum in Charlie section for Mani Admins, so that we can share information with them.

Shouldn't be too hard. I've had a bit of practice now :roflmao:
