Losing Team Slayer

What do you think of the idea behind this plugin for the new build? http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=57517

I think it could force more public players to play a tactical game on Boomer as messages are displayed as to why they were slayed.

I don't like the idea. One of the tactics employed frequently in TCS is an eco round with a view to save money to get decent weapons. This kills you which defeats the point.

I must say i never heard any saying eco round when whe play friendly games on the servers BB..

I know whe use it during matches,but that's different..

I'll call it quite often at the start of a round as in: "if we lose this round eco and get guns the round after"

I know I'm not the only one to call eco's

Hmmm.

I don't know whether this is good or not.

sometimes, when you're the only ct left, and you rush from the other bombsite on the otherside of the map, you simply do not have time to kill the remaining T's and defuse. sometimes you simply don't have time to reach the site and defuse even if all T's are dead.

It would be a bit mean to slay someone who has done everything correctly, and made the effort to do the right thing.

on other occasions, it may be tactically correct to save yourself and your weapon (especially something like a scout)for the next round, if your team has little money.

although I do agree that non-tryers should feel the wrath generally speaking.

I think Blunt has hit the nail on the head! The software cannot differentiate between a non-trier and somebody playing to tactics we agree are sensible. I think it should remain with the admins to slay if people arent trying rather than auto slay.

The reason I was interested in it was more for during the periods when we have no admins on the server (when we reduce the number of public admins) but we can leave it off the list.

Could it be set to be active only when no admin on ? or is it just hours of a day thing?

As it is, it can be enable/disabled through the use of a CVAR, so an option could be added to the menu but then we'd need to remember to switch it on/off.
