Last night was the first time I had a game of TF2 (vs people).
Got to say that thanks to KKND I knew what to do (over VC's and his threads).
Some GG's. I like the cartoonish-style of the game.
BTW, Using the pyro was fun and easy and I got quit a few kills with it.
I still have to find out what the best way is to play for me as in which class. Hopefully when we have a bigger game then 3vs3 or 4vs4 I'll have a look on what class to take.
 
I do seem to get a sort of lagspikething happening sometimes while I'm playing the game (screen freezes, when it's up again it looks like my body is falling on the floor but I can continue after that). Does anyone else have the same thing or heard of this problem? It happens quit a bit (3-5 times in a round).

I know I was only there for 2 rounds but I never experienced anything like that. Smooth as you like for me.

Then the missus demanded I stop playing and come down for dinner :sad:

You freeze when you get killed and it focuses on the killer, I'm sur eyou don't mean that?

It was good fun, but I'd like to see more taunting.

Nah, not that. Game freezes for several seconds (wasn't shot or such), then when out of the freeze I'm not dead or so...
 
Taunting, was that by pressing "G"?

A question, is it possible to add bots on the server?
 
For the rest I'm awaiting Steam to allow me to post on there forums about my "freeze moments". There's so far no problems on there which seem to have the same as mine...:sad:

FWIW - those are the moments that I have in CS:S as well.. it is not like normal in-game lag. The game just freezes for 2-30 seconds, typically around 5 I would say... I have found no solution to those - although I do suspect packet loss to be a possible reason (I am still working on this).

Well, your playing on ethernet yeah? My comp is connected directly...So that shouldn't be the problem...
I've got no problems in CSS, maybe I have to use the exact same settings as I have for CSS in TF2 (that might be worth a check)...

Pfff signed up for the Steamforums this morning and I still can't post there, still not authorised...

Well, the packet loss for me is occurring mostly when passing the BrighStar Associates server, besides on other link. So PL is outside my local network. But - good point - if CS is behaving, then it is a software issue.

Can you post me some of your settings, that you are looking into? I could see if they could fix the problem I have in CS, worth a shot me thinks

Just going to check if all settings are the same on screensize etc...

For the rest, still can't get type a message on the Steamforums. Allready wrote them an email that I think they're really slow (over 4 hours to send a confirmation that I can join there forums and type a message)...
