In GTL I picked up a trick from Ron - having a TrackIR reset button on the wheel. When you drive, from time to time it is good to reset the view. Thing is, as you lean towards the keyboard to reset (F12 in the TrackIR software) you end up resetting the car with you sitting with your head and body in a wrong "natural" position. The keyboard is never really close enough for the reset to really fit :sideways:

I have been searcing lfs.net to no avail. I have looked through LFS for the possibility to bind a key to the wheel for that - let alone find that options in LFS? :g:

There isn't one.....at the moment. You'll need to use the profiler and assign the centre tir that you select in the tir software. Either that or check out 'joytokey' That works pretty good too. Hope that helps :)
EDIT: I just noticed you use F12. Don't, because LFS uses it. Set it to number pad key. LFS doesn't use them (I think)
EDIT 2: JoyToKey

I think the best way to do this is to use the trackir software itself. At least in the latest version it supports direct use of joystick/wheel buttons. Just go to edit the profile in use, select hotkeys and change on the center item. Then press the key on the wheel you want to use.
Then just remember to not assign that key to anything in the sim.

Wow! You're right, I didn't know that. Scrub my post, I was talking through my underpants!
