From the grainy photo in your link it looks like there was a (very slight) gap between boot and line due to the shadow, but it's very close and can understand why it was called the way it was. The other photo makes it look more obvious but that because the foot was lifted as he was sliding. I can see this debated for quite some time.

Watching it live, and with all the different camera angles, I would have said it was over.
Disappointing match IMHO, didn't enjoy it much.

Should have been given - it wasn't, move on.
 
However, it should have lifted England because they had shown they could run through the South Africans, instead the reverted to type and backed off

I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on.
