i have recently transfered my character from my old server to come and play with some irl mates.  they play in a guild called origin.  i have raced to 70 and have average gear but really want to play alot to get better items from raids.  im an ex cs player so i know about team play and about listening to raid leaders so the raid is efficient and we dont wipe!

plus im a nice guy

Sounds like a decent player, enthusiastic and willing.  Will he spec prot?

I had an extensive with this guy last night. he does not want to spec prot totally but he is perfectlly happy to offtank / 2nd tank.

Im sure that we could get him prot slowly! just ask him if he could put in say 15 point at first so he get defiance so when he is in defensive stance created an additional 15% thret and move him slowly from there
