About SOG and our tanks 2

Ok ill make a new and better thread.

I just wanna say i think we really need a new tank in the guild with no offense to Jim, as he only wanna help out. But we really need a new tank before any other chars. Ofc we have Smite and that the best thing we can ask for, but we all know we also need a warrior.
So for the guild sake and raid progress please find a tank as first priority.
I see i real tank from a couple of angles, his main and first char in wow was a warrior and ofc he is a good player.
I also know we are tryin to find new players but, gettin new players are not all. Ppl in the guild need to know what is goin on and what we are aiming for, i know there is a tread about makin a post on wow forum about gettin new players for SoG. but we need a tread for updates on whats goin on and if ppl have questions.

we have had some problems with recruiting a tank at the moment, granted we do need to put some more effort in to this.

if anyone knows any warrior tanks then please get them to apply!

Agree with you Limps.
We will be trying harder to Find a Tank and a good one.
For personal reasons i prefer OT so i will be trying harder to find one. :g:

aye, will be nice to get another tank in as it will make regular raiding easier when others are unavailable.

I am trying to tank

Well at least when i get my druid to lvl 70.
I like playing my druid but i havn't tanked before:blink:
But i would like to give it a go when he is at lvl 70 and you guys arn't to scared of me:narnar:

Tanks 100% priority atm we need 4 we have 1 for 25 mans. Another tough tank needed for ZA.... going on active members Jim / sheep / jas have a tank to make up

we are heavy on healers and dps, that leaves "sheep / jim / jas" :doh:able to change mains to keep the raids running. I don't want to change if poss sheep is the same and Jim is happy to tank (the time taken to gear up for ZA is the same )

If we know anyone that can embrace this spot then now is the time to shout up

thats the current situation i would like to see some of our less active tonks take up the torch but it is a heavy commitment. A prot type tonk is crap out of a raid

we are looking at an officer meet every Sunday pre raid to keep the guild singing from the same sheet ... Ill post a short version for comment / discussion

i know a tank who is with lemmings of the light who may be able to help, but not sure if he would totally come over or not. their guild raids days we don't (mon, wed and sat i think). Just a thought need be.

he also has a 70 hunter as well, his missus is also a 70 hunter. and trying to convince my SP friend in LotL to move as well

just a quick note... thought last night's run went really well and the tanking was very good. be nice to see how it goes for the last bosses... might have a new tanking team:lmfao:

Honestly though, i had lots of fun last night and was really happy with how things went. Bravo all

Yeh it went very smooth but it bit slow we need to up our speed a bit but it will come . It shows how its down to tactics more than gear in kara. Im happy to tank until we have a new blood but my love is still with the lock :narnar:
