Due to a lack of interest in raiding and the difficulty in getting together a balanced group the officers have decided to suspend planned raiding for the foreseeable future. What this means is SOG will move to a social guild only. A number of members will be moving guild which will cut us short for all raid classes

Just informig you on the current situation in SOG .. Over the next few days you will see alot of members moving from SOG to Mae Culpa. This is simply down to us not being able to field a 25man raid.
 
It has been decided by the officers to have a merger with MC and you as a regular raiding member are invited to move over also. We have negotiated raid spots for all sog raid members but the decision is totaly down to you
 
If you wish to join with the MC merge either inform me by PM or wisper Sheep/Jaz in game for a MC guild invite
 
Not all of SOG will get the "Fast track" opertunity to join MC so please be aware

Due to the problem of recruiting a 25 man team and lately a team worthy of even attempting Zul'aman the officers have decided to abandon all SOG Raiding.
Karazhan at the start of the year was on farm but now the only raid we can actually acheive. This is affecting morale within SOG and as you may have noticed we have had a steady stream of key members leave the guild through the year. This week 2 officers left.

• What does this mean for SOG?

SOG will stay alive and become a Social Guild. An area to hang out with the people you know and love or even level new characters.
Regular Raiding, Not under the SOG banner but under Mea Culpa.

• What about the members. Where will they go?

After Negotiations with Mea Culpa majority of members will have the opportunity to apply for places.
 
Also 2 places have been given as Officer positions to current SOG officers. They are Jas and Sheepy. Tealeaf has been given an Advisory Officer position also. This is to ensure SOG members are treated equal to current Mea Culpa members.

• What do you do now?

Over the next couple of days people will slowly start to migrate over to Mea Culpa with the help of the new MC officers. IF you do wish to move over to MC please be patient they will get to you. Sending them ingame whispers or forum PM's will not make it happen any quicker. If you do not want to move guild please accept SOG as your home.

Shall we target going live with this around 19:00 server time ?

I think let other officers pull at either yours or my version or even make there own.
If nobody has objections to either then go live at 16:00. This would be the average time people come onto the forums.

I think the only improvemnt over your smite will be to change ALT toons to the fact that sog will become a social guild and not speciafically an alt guild

Also mention that we are doing this to be able to offer raiding to our members on a more regular basis, and not that sog is disbanding
