The last few days I have had BSOD quite randomly and today I never managed to boot up windows. So I did what I usually do when I get BSOD, brought out the vacuum cleaner. After carefully cleaning the computer it still kept getting BSOD. Quite annoying. I started to look more carefully at the graphics card and realised that the vacuum cleaner hadn't done a good enough job. It was time to bring in the artillery.

Yup a compressor. Blowing clean all components in the case with 8 bar air did the job. No more BSOD and that extra fine dust that creeps into all crevices were gone as well. Well recommended if you have a compressor.

Can't you buy ones with that kind of thing built in? The techies here have a compressor and a desk kinda like an inverse air hockey one (prevents dust being blown everywhere by sucking it onto the table as you work, then can be easily cleaned) specifically for cleaning kit here, so I assume as you can buy kit specially for it they've thought about water etc.

Of course you can, and it costs three times as much, because techie has a price!!:D

Interesting approach.    We have one of these  http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1080867&CatId=41  And not only does it suck, it blows in two speeds and the hi-blower speed removes everything we've passed under it.  Don't forget to keep your fans from spinning at high rates from direct air, the angle that drives the blades is not the natural spin path and you could warp the fan or worse by over driving the rotation speed.
