While Firefox is of course a good bit of kit, I've already had a problem and I've only had it installed for a day!

Basically my 'back' and 'forward' buttons (nice that they are) disappeared.

Had to start in safe mode and choose option to Reset toolbar to defaults :g:

The beta was actually the default browser on my last Linux Ubuntu upgrade but as mentioned most plugins have not yet been upgraded. When they update 'bookmark sync and sort' plugin for FF3 I'll upgrade.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Only fault I have found is that I cannot access the firmware pages for my router (DIR-655) with FF3 although I could with FF2

I use IE to get to the firmware pages for now.

This IS weird. It's the other way round for me. :g:

I'm really enjoying the latest Firefox so far, it seems bug free and efficient. I especially like how you can save the tabs you have open when you are closing it.

Edit: Try dragging a picture. :D

Never noticed that. :P Rarely use IE though to be honest.

It does (and has done) that.  I'm just trying to wind people up cause I know we are a Firefox lover/IE hater outfit here

As a web developer I use both of course :eyebrow:

Though more and more I'm using FF.  I think my percentage of use is probably 60/40 in favour of IE...

Awaits the flame war :norty:

Is it just me or is Firefox becoming one of those deals that knows best? Not only FF but Google too. They are not satisfied with their being the default search engine they want to install all manner of crap as well! :taz:

FF reset itself to tabs when I specifically disabled them, Google decided I didn't have enough of their crap enabled and tried to make me re-enable stuff!
It's late, i'm inebriated and I hate being messed about!

It would certainly be a shame if Mozilla and other Open Source software starts doing stuff that we haven't ask for!

That's Microsoft's prerogative! :g:
