I got this from another FoldingForum; F@H Memorial: I fold for...

Here's mine:
Why I fold;
We all have busy lives, but folding is so simple. I fold 24/7 for my/our dad (King and da_Ricci's) who died of cancer 18 years ago. I fold so hopefully my nephews don't know the disease as I did and that it helps to cure other stuff aswell.
Survivor of LAN V, VI, VIII, IX, X, XII, XIV, XVI, XVIII, XX, XXIV, XXX, XXXII, XXXIV and XXXVI so far...
Lionheart; Grolsch to DuVeL is like spinache to Popeye

Cheesepuff...A cyborg is sent from the future on a deadly mission. He has to kill Ninja_Freak, a young Man whose life will have a great significance in years to come.Ninja has only one protector - DuVeL - also sent from the future. The Terminator uses his exceptional intelligence and strength to find Ninja_Freak & attempt to terminate him.

I fold because i want to help researchers in curing diseases and folding makes me happy (propaganda on folding causing pc issues is just that, propaganda. I have never had an issue and the only one i know of is some people have ot pause the service when playing BF2. I never change a thing. If you have issues, then quit blaming f@h).

edit: Folding has to do with whether you want to contribute to research in diseases or not, basically.

I fold because:

It's something I can do for others without too much effort.  Yes, our lives are busy and this is a small step to helping those who get diseases such as cancer.

For me though it isn't about me 'feeling good' giving back to society.  Its so much more in fact.  I think...

...we are obliged to help and do something like this.  Too often we take but don't give and it's about time we gave more.

So, it's a small step for man but maybe a giant leap for mankind?
Start Folding and get yourself one of those nice new badge thingies, it\'s a good cause.  Check out the stats
