Teams numbers were even but one-sided so I thought I'd swap over but it wouldn't let me change teams?

Just thought I'd mention it in case a setting has been switched?

Yeah auto is fine when you're joining a game but not when you're in-game and want to manually balance the teams by making one team top-heavy. You then need to manually change team but I don't think it lets you.

Doesn't the game have an auto team balancing doohickey?

Auto team balance normally just ensures that sides are even (or at most one out, if you have an odd number of players). I'm not aware of any autobalance system that looks at if one side is getting utterly annihilated by the other, despite the teams being equal numbers, and skews the number of players per side to compensate (which is what I believe Pen is getting at).

Mal: Define interesting...

Turn autobalancing off after the first round?

Sorry, my dumb. I've never really been a fan of 'balancing' teams just because one side is getting a leathering. Mind you, I do see that a team full of Buttas v a team full of Doorses being a bit boring. :lmfao:
