Since before I left for America my pc has been playing up and wouldnt work properly. I have managed to get it working again but it appears it has a really bad 'Trojan Vundo' virus on it...

We have Norton Anti Virus and we pay £40 for it each year so u would expect it to delete the bloody thing, alas now all I get is a Norton pop up saying a file cannot be repaired, every time i click ok the message pops up again and it's doing my head in!!

I've done multiple scans with Norton, Ad-Aware 2008 and SpyBot Search and Destroy and they either cant delete the files or don't find anything...

Sometimes Norton will scan and come up with what I can do with the 'Trojan Vundo' and it wont repair it or remove it, only review it, I don't know what I'm gonna do!!

I recently did a chkdsk and it said 'One or more errors on the volume' and previous Ad-Aware scans came up with these results;

-Virtumonde - Malware
x1 registry entry - root:HKLMPath
software\microsoft\aoprndtws

-Win32.trojan agent-Malware
x4 registry entry

-Adware.Bho(generic)

The Norton messages show the following virus'

c;/documes~/ian\loc....\jrrjytxc.dll

c:/windows/system32/LiJARjhE.dll

Trojan bloody Vundo....any advice or help?

i can't manually delete the files either :(

Good idea George.

If that fails, try and boot in safe mode (hold down F8 when windows logo shows at boot) and then try and delete the file... or run the av-programs from safemode.
