Auto balance can be a PITA but what we could do is set a limit for how "out of balance" the teams can get i.e. no more than 2 players imbalance between teams

Could you not restrict people from picking sides? i.e only give them an auto assign option, that way it will balance out teams?

unlike on CSS, I ALWAYS auto-assign on CoD4.

I have only been on very unbalanced teams when people have left suddenly and silently.

I'll start looking before I join now, but me joining a winning team doesn't make a lot of difference tbh

I always auto-assign to.

I didn't think you *could* see the sides as in CS? How do you do that then?

(Occasionally it'd be useful to join a specific side to ensure there's an admin on each team for instance)

if you tap esc then tab you can see teams

I was on early tonight and somehow people joined the winning side, 2/3 flags captured by the opponents with 1 more guy on the otherside.
I reckon if they choose side instead of autojoin it doesn't seem to work.

Ahwell, some GG's, except I got knifed by Toby who was on my side.

Sorry for me disapearing that suddenly (called it in though on the end of the round).

Had my hopefully to be gf texting me to join the pub.

I'll be trying and join CoD4 a bit more as I finally got to like it again after the LAN.

I always auto assign, yeah sorry about that Duvel but I had just changed sides to even it up and went on to auto pilot.

GG but there was a mass exidous at one point but it was Thursdays which I think now is Zombie night.
