DK Tanking Build

Should ding 80 tonight......so i need a decent Tanking build, any suggestions??
 
I know frost is the standard full tank build but some people have different views.

It's something in a state of flux atm tbh.  DW tanking is going to become possible soon, I know of someone experimenting with that and managed over 3kdps on Patchwerk.

Damage on Frost seems to be pretty spiky from a healing perspective and we have found Unholy builds to generally provide much smoother mitigation which leads to easier and more reliable healing and less unexpected damage spike deaths, so at the moment I would build up an Unholy tank build, something like this.  As there is only one fight which might need anti-magic zone you can get away without it for everything else and respec into a slightly different build for Sarth+3.  Mine isn't yet 80 though, so whilst I am happy with the comments on ease of healing of the different builds, I would do your own research to check the builds out!

Fatbob / Mal had the same oppinion of the Unholy which was i why i brought it up.
I will do a bit of research.

im also looking at tanking build for my DK at the moment as i should ding today or tomorrow if im lazy!

i had a little experiment with unholy dps last night just by chucking points in and seeing how it works just to get a feel for it.

I may do the same with frost just to see how the spec "feels" b4 i commit to going down one path properly

I used Unholy mixed with blood for a very long time.
 
You get some insane dps but you can't take to many hits as in full frost/blood.
 
I use now a dw spec using all 3 talent tree's.
 
But then again i aint really go for tanking.
