We turned up on time with 2 guys short on the matchtime but Browne and Jabbs connected shortly after. At the time Snokio seemed to be up aswell so 6 in the end, 3 minutes after official matchstart.
All in all enough people so Snokio left.
 
Before matchtime they decided to type alot of swearing so I had to warn them several times that if they'd continued we'd end the match due to their language. They finally stopped when our 4th arrived, Declan.
 
As oldschool, we lost kniferound.
They choose CT's first.
 
1st half;
They had long A coverd pretty well so second round we went B.
We got in B allright while they had MP5's and got to plant it.
Due to the guys we killed we got their MP5's and got hold of B and planted there.
Bomb went BOOM and we won that round.
 
After that 1 of theirs saved up for an AWM/AWP and they managed to hold their sites really well. We managed to plant the bomb and make it go BOOM just one more time.
Then they got another AWM/AWP and we didn't manage to get close to a bombspot once except when we had a split up decoy at B and the bomb got planted at A.
The bomb got defused by their last guy while our last guys was moving back to A.

2nd half;
As CT's we had me at B and the rest of the guys at A, short A and doors.
They first made a long A rush and got the bomb down.
Me and Declan tryed to get it but we were outnumberd.
 
After them winning 2 rounds the AWM's/AWP's were back. I counted 2. 4 rounds ingame their victory was certain big time and they just bought all the guns they could get picking us of with all the sniper rifles except scouts, they had also one G3S and a para.
 
15-0 for them
 
So, hopefully there's a christmas offer of lube on Boffer or such before our next match.
 
Hopefully next time we can sort just 1 AWM/AWP again and no other sniperrifles (scout offcourse being an exception).
 
Tactics that worked as T's;
-Slowly up to long A, let them toss their flashes first;
-B rush second round while coverd by a smokegrenade.
-Decoy at B, plant at A.

My first game in ED for a while and got to say, we won 2 rounds...Ahwell, better then nothing...

One thing:

Match practice.

If we are genuine about doing ED then we should practice, then do some practice and oh yeah nearly forgot..we gotta practice!

Practice together several times each week and we will get the tactics.  Its one thing to discuss tactics once a month before a match but that isn't good enough.  We need to be playing together in mixes and matches we arrange 'on the spot'.  That way we will all 'KNOW' what we need to do.

Yep, I've mentioned it before and it will always give the other team an advantage:

Using in game comms as soon as you die that's it!  No more help for your mates.

Using Vent of TS, you can help your team mates by providing information about where you were killed from.

You can also provide good help if for instance your headset is good or your recognition of where sound comes from is good.

Like i said yesterday THEY challenged us.
Before they did challenge us i already reject 3 matches.
Whe cant reject all matches cos they us more autosnipers as whe.

So whe lost big deal,see it as some practice atleast i do.

Apologies for last night, I thought it would be best if someone else took my place last night due to high ping (always on match days :crying:), so a thank you to Browne for stepping in at the last moment. IMO, the AWP should be restricted to 1 per team on the meathook, at least then we get some practice with it.. :2cents:

Old trick that if you throw a flash over the wall towards short A when you enter through the doors at long A. I showed this at the walkthrough the match before this one. One could argue it is a map flaw as the skybox doesn't cut off that possibility. It is allowed by ED though.
