You have obviously downloaded the software now but for the benefit of others with Nvidia Cards (8 series & above) the URL is:-

I'm using v6.20r1, but there is a newer version.
The only advice I can add, is NOT to use the display link, as its not working properly and Stanford warn you about.

You mean the GPU System tray client ? As I get blue screens from the 6.23 version. Just need to get back to the old one.
Now I got the 6.23 to work somehow, but it just spins the proteine around on black backround and does nothing.
Where could I find the old 6.20 client ?

Try the MPICH. The reason you get a folding bonus from using these clients is because Stanford know they take more effort to get working. But, basically, when it is set up, there is not much else to do

The Deino is a bit more stable and possibly a weeeeee bit faster than the MPICH. However, it requires a bit more setup.

Oh and BTW: STay away from the 5.9x versions! Get the 6.2x version. Get them here

Mhmm, I installed Microsoft.net Framwork 2.0 as I needed this according to; http://folding.stanford.edu/English/FAQ-SMP-WinInstall
 
Then I use the fah-SMP-591.exe and it gives me an error;

Tryed that one also but it didn't do anything unless I started it manually.

With the Deino thing I just unzipped all into a folder, ran install.bat and followed the instructions from the download site, and it basically worked from there, besides an issue with Deino not detecting my cores (which I solved). You could try that instead?

If you want to install the normal one, just remember to make one folder with fah in it, for each core you have, and then use different machine IDs when you install.
