Cool! Nice find. Hadn't heard about that before. There are some pretty cool videos on youtube as well. Maybe someone should give SRT a hint..?

Looks pretty good. I'm not a very big fan of F1 sims, though, or even single seaters in general (which is why I'm holding off on buying nKP).

Have you tried the demo yet? First impressions?

I downloaded the demo last night and will try tonight,

I also downloaded a new mod for Rfactor, which also i will have a go of tonight, its called F1 1991 LE by SlimJim / Evil Group / TMF , if you have rfactor and like f1 its worth alook, rfactor as a standalone game is poor, you need to install the mods like this to make the game come alive, the ffb and racing is superb along with some great graphics, all the mods are free and there are loads of servers with people playing online, the mods i recommend are

F1 1991 LE by SlimJim / Evil Group / TMF
Fabcar
Grandprix 1979
F1 2006 CTDP

Tried this at Xmas. It's fun, but I found the ff severely lacking in bite, even with everything turned up full. Also felt a little detached from the road, but that could have been the drink

. I wouldn't spend money on it at the moment, though.
I'll take your recommendation on rFactor, and give that a try. Last F1 sims I gave any serious time to were GP4 and GPLegends. Must dig Legends out again.

Tried it last night. FF almost non existent. A strange 'detached' feel to it. Gets a ***** meh from me I'm afraid.(that's 5 star, not a swear word.

your word is good enough for me Ron:worship:, it will go straight into the the recycle bin, as i said i had not tried it only downloaded, as with most, you get passed the flash web page with nice sceen shots then onto the game with disapointment:doh:

Apparently SRT will review it in their next episode. But like obsolum, F1 has never been a favourite of mine. Might want to check our their review though. Maybe there are some FF tweaks that can improve it..?

I don't like formula cars.

The track pics look nice. The cockpit looks horrible (the driving wheel mostly). Some formula type car on a pic has weirdly overgrown front tyres :blink:

Oh yeah, did I mention...I don't like formula cars.

If I may add my comments...
Apart from the fact that I do not like formula cars, I had a peek into the game forum.
My computer that runs OK with LFS (no AA, no AF) and barely runs NKP (nothing on=30-45FPS offline) will never be able to run this according to the posters there. All guys stating it looks decent have quad-whatever processors that makes my laptop look like an abacus and graphic cards that could put my house in the dark if I ever plugged them on.
Good luck to them, I can see some work ahead
