Elemental shaman

Tonight I had a little chat with TL about my PVE build, he also adviced me take a look at elitistjerks.com, and so I did. With all new info into consideration I've come up with the folowing build.

I'd like to here the oppionions of you guys, and give me additional advice on which to talent to drop and wich to gain.

They are elitist, there are some jerks there, but it is still the best source of theorycrafting around.

I like the build, but then it's pretty much what I suggested when we talked with the filler point going into the Reverb. It will dps much better than the build you currently have.  Now all you need to do is work on the rotation.

My cycle is pretty much the same as they already suggested at EJ,
(FS - LvB - CL - ES - LB - LvB - CL - FS - LB - LvB ... etc.)
only I'm going to replace chain lightning with lightning bolt, because on 30% of the bosses it makes me mana screw (even with pot), and I'm now going to use lightning shield in staid of water shield.
(plus I also have [ITEM]Totem of the Elemental Plane[/ITEM] so LB should in the end not be that much worse, damage wise)

Furthermore I read that they are going to change the lightning bolt glyph into 4% extra damage, and they are going to adjust glyph of earth shock to function properly, so how good do you think these are?.

Am currently using:
- [ITEM]Glyph of Flame Shock[/ITEM] -
- [ITEM]Glyph of Flametongue Weapon[/ITEM] -
- [ITEM]Glyph of Lava[/ITEM]   -
(minors are: Glyph of Astral Recall, Ghost Wolf, Water Walking)

The only thing might change is the 2% crit since TL said crit is only the 4th stat you should go after.

im assuming LvB is Lava Burst? if so why dont you let FS do a little damage before consuming it with LvB as i know u can cast 2 LB before you need to do LvB.

so its FS>LB>LB>LvB

Because I use Glyph of Flame Shock, which lengthens the flame shock, and its not consumed by Lava Burst, this makes me able to use earth shock in staid of a 2nd flame shock which does 2-4k extra dmg per cycle

EJ notes some interesting comment on CL atm and in particular the changes inbound at the patch.  The discussion surrounds whether or not CL is even worth including in a single target rotiation as overload procs for more with LB than CL and the mana efficiency is better.  Not read into it too much yet myself, but that's the summary I recall.  Might be worth checking out in more detail if you are an ele shaman.

caus im 100% sure its consumed when i use it maybe its not when ure elemental

As I said twice now, the glyph prevents it from being consumed:

Glyph of Flame Shock
Major Glyph
Classes: Shaman
Requires Level 15Use: Increases the duration of your Flame Shock ability by 6 sec and it is not consumed by casting Lava Burst.

Mind the "and is not consumed by casting Lava Burst." part

thanks for all the tips in this thread guys i am going to give the spec a try:) all i got to do is just get my rotation sorted now:)
