Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do? What's your situation at home like?

I am marcel, 33 years old and im from Holland.

What kind of internet connection do you have?

I have got a 20 mb internet connection.

What are the core specs of your computer?

Quad core Q6600, 2 GB DDR 2 ram, Nvidea Gforce 8600GT up to 1020 Mb videocard.

How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?

I started playing games on a black and white tv, from there on the C64, all Nintendo game consoles and from there onlots of RTS and ROG games on the pc till I saw WoW 4 years ago!

What kind of raiding experience do you have?

All kinds of raiding experience from the start of WoW when MC was the only raiding instance around with 3 different characters (druid, hunter and priest)
Till Wotlk where I did all the 10 man content, mostly with me druid so far.

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?

A few guilds that got disbanded and even 2 that moved server, at this moment im in a small guild with Wow friends which I cleared the ten man content with, called The exalted. They fallen apart and I want to move on and do 25 man raiding.

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?

Ive got many alts, basicly all classes (why can we only make 10 characters on one server -.-) but mainly play my druid gillar(feral tank), my priest sleepyy (holy priesty) and my hunter caelin (survival).

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you? Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.

Plans for this game is to enjoy it as much as possible and see as much of this expansion as possible with a nice group of players.
Personality, well it kinda depends which role I play in  a group when we are raiding. Been raidleading and tanking a lot, so then you will hear me quite a lot in chat but for anything else im quiet and try to get the best out of my class as possible. When not raiding I always try to help other people out and for the rest the occasional funrun with Lóla!

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.

That they removed 40 man raiding!

Why did you decide to play this class?

Because I liked the challenge to keep 40 man alive, now its down to 10-25 man but still have lots of fun in healing.

What do you think your class' role is in raid content?

My awesome buffs and the group heals

The healing build been changing a lot over the years from full dics to full holy and a hybrid etc. at this moment im using this build to get the most out of my buffs and still having a good strong group heal.

Lóla mentioned your guild to me as a very friendly and mature people so I had a look on your site and looks like a mature guild with for me very good raiding days/times.

Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?

except for the occasional group up for  instance which some names are familiar to me I only really know lóla who just joined your guild.

Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?

Because of your philosophy I wanted to make an apply. Good philosophy with a great guild attitude which I like to be a part of!

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?

Im usually not that fuzzed about anything offensive and usually ignore it, cant imagine somebody would be offensive to me in the first place 

Seriously, why do people keep wanting 40man raids back? It was hell to lead those raids and I still wake up at night screaming and bathing in my own sweat sometimes. Oh the hell, the hell...! :crying:

It was the best thing that this games has ever had! It really had the feeling going on that we are really doing something, 10mans are just "party +" instances. 25man is getting close to the 40man feeling but not quite

They were hell to organise, but they were also fantastically rewarding when you got the 40 person raid working as a single unit.  Awesome fun.

40 man raid's were hell on earth but yes once you got them all working as a team they were an awesome achievement when completed, I'll never forget my days and nites in MC but sadly you can 3 man it nowadays but still great fun!

I know you guys don't know me (yet!) but Sleepyy is alright i s'pose... hehe actually we bumped into each other about 4 years ago in Ashenvale when we were both lvl 14, doing a quest and helped each other out and have kinda partied around ever since. Have to say awesome player and knows all of his chars well and can do most of it while making a cup of tea and eating pancakes (apparently dutch ppl do that!) G/L mate

Granted, 40man were great fun if you achieved something. Sadly those achievements were few and far inbetween in Righteous RG2 xD

Still, I think we're better off with 25 =)
