I so wish i had found this addon before now ... its like a big *I WIN* button on my screen :D

I use a customizable scrolling combat log text, that shows highlights from the combat logs in the main screen such as buff/debuff taken, crits, and so on. If you play a bit with its options, you can change the size of the warnings and add a sound effect to some of them. I use it a lot on my lock for the decimation and the nightfall buffs. Is that what the addon you're suggesting does?

Does that happen to be MSCT (Miks Scrolling Combat Text?)

Yep. I used to use parrot, but it didn't got updated since tbc.

Yup its the same sort of thing .. for me healing it lets me know when things proc "clear casting" for example. With dps somtime you get a buff/proc/boss debuff that to optimise its effect will make you change your rotation.

Seems as usefull as you want it to be quite a powerfull tool

Its been good for me too now ive switched to fire it tells me when i get the hotstreak procs and keeps a big red cosy circle around me so i can see if it stays on after i've used it, also got it set so that as soon as living bomb goes off i get a sound played and a different colour so i know to re-apply straight away.

Beauty for it would be on general vezax with stuff like life leech so if i get it i will light up green and know to run away.
