I'm wondering why this is the most popular you-tube video of all time, with about 40 million more hits than it's closest rival?

I wondere where you find this to be the most popular YouTube video ever. When I look at Most Viewed, All Time (I have no option for All Time for Most Popular, so I assume you also looked at  Most Viewed), I find both Evolution of Dance and Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend to appear as #1 and #2 respectively before the baby video.

Both the baby video and evolution of dance I can see why end up that high. They are fund/charming/creating/whatever, in an easy and nice-to-watch way. The much bigger question however, in my opinion, is how an ordinary music video such as Girlfriend get that high up on the list :g:

No idea. Perhaps it is the same deal, 10 people watch, it is listed as "hot", 10 more watch, it is best of some channel - etc ? :) But I can see the likelihood of that going all the way is.. close to non-existent.
