Well, it appears that I no longer have a steam account (well, either that or my password is incorrect, which it isn't) and after being able to play the previous day.

After rebooting a few times and still getting the same result they have until the end of the week to fix it or I'm giving CS up for good.

I get in from work to relax and have fun by playing a few games or watching a movie. NOT to sit infront of a computer trying to log into some half TANGO piece of TANGOing shitty software  :rant:

I was getting that a lot today. They have released a steam update and the servers seem to be back running again.

Try going through the password reset link. At least it will confirm if you have a valid account or not.

It loaded and i opened the server window clicked on MH and entered the password, all looking good so far then

Counter Strike will use 350 mb on disk>Steam will now aquire (download)   :lmfao: [muhaaaaa yeah first time for everything]all of the required content.

Happened to me as well. All you have to do is to shut down steam and restart it. It worked for me.
