This was the video Spaceinvader posted during the raid and the idea we had in our minds with the last tactic. As you can see they have a nigh-on clear arena throughout the entire phase 1. Never more than a few mobs at a time up, and hardly any AoE.

This is what we're aiming for as it seems to be the tactic that at least keeps us alive the longest. Now we have to add to that a more clear arena and we're there. The TS chatter you hear is for the hallway. Can't find out why the melee triangle in P2 though... I don't recall any reason to do specifically that...

Also: what the flip is with that music? Major pro to their raidleader and general TS though. Clean, short, one voice. That's how we like it

think i will add a comment to that tactic.
It seems like they got one person dedicated to aoe on commoners, and the rest is single-targeting. That may be the road to go. Seem easy and not that complicated.

aye there was a hunter using Volley as aoe in the vid, and what looked like explosive trap, and a couple of arcane explsions but that was it

This is almost the exact same vid as I posted when Ulduar came out when we were stuck on Thorium on 10 man...the tactics worked then & will more than work now....if we all listen & follow orders we have it in the bag.

You may have to consider that this is usually the amount of communications needed for a boss in farm. In fact, we can experience the same on flame leviathan without turrets up or kologarn, or even auryaia, where the only voice is the ads tank's voice warning for the low hp of his targets and the raid leader asking for the movement.
