New officer - CL shakeup

With Garrit stepping down do we appoint another officer?

If we do, I have two candidates that I'd like to propose.

1. Halbarad
2. Ice Hawk

Also, with the CL's, if Jim leaves, this won't be a problem for the CL as we have Evo and Jas left there so that brings them back down to two, like the rest.

With Garrit going, I'd like to pull Hal back to tank CL along with myself (though we don't really need to do much as we have a solid tanking lineup!), which will lead to the Melee DPS having just one CL.

Who do we get to fill that spot? Suggestions?

My 2 cents is that Ice is too volatile and tends to rant rather than think about an issue .  And Hal I cannot understand on TS.  But Hal makes more sense to me then Ice.

Both would be ok .. Ice is a different person on wow and Hal is solid tho his coms take both ears ...

I would also see how busy whitey is ( /jedi mind trick...Whitey this is not the post you are looking for ... move along /end jedi mind trick)

Yeah, I've got used to Hals accent now and can understand him better. Ice is great in WoW, I agree, which is why I put them both forward.

Any more comments?

What we need is people who are active and happy/capable to run a raid alone when needed

Ice and Hal both are very capable players. but i have to agree with TL that Ice does sometime have a temper issue and Hal i still cant understand when he starts talking more then 3 words tbh. so they are equally suited for the job in my oppinion. :D
 
I do like to have a clear point on Jim though..i mean he says hes stepping down as officer and leaving the guild in Public forum first i might add, then says in guildchat today there is no guild for him with his current raiding time so hes gonna stay. Do we still want him as CL i wonder. :eyebrow:

I'd say grab the bull byt he horns and demote as he requested.  Solves some problems in my book and he has done us a favour.

Yeah, I agree. I've had a thought about this and he has PM'ed me asking me to remove that thread. I won't remove it, as it is a nice reminder as to how silly he can be.

As for the CL demote, I wanted to think about this as he is a good player and does help out in the raids a lot and when he's not being a 'troublesome teenager' is a great CL.

Any more comments on bumping Jim down as CL?

Ice and Hal both seem to have alot of drive and dedication, just have to make sure whoever gets promoted has the ability to count to 10 in problematic encounters. Somebody with drive who calls out 'issues' is good, so long as you have a 'good cop' to morph frustrations into constructive and supportive criticism.  
On a side note sorry for not being around much recently. I'm living with my brother who unfortunately has developed an illness which makes hand movement very unstable, which we all take for granted I guess. So he needs help with certain things until he gets treatment. Hopefully he should be back to his old self soon and I can play more, to be honest I needed a break from raiding anyway.

After speaking with him and explaining that as a CL he has to set an example, he has cleaned his act up a lot. And personally, he is a huge help in the raids for me and does the CL role exactly as I intend it to in game.

I want to see if this good behaviour lasts, as Jim does know he is on his last chance.

Congratulations Hal, your an excellent addition to the team - glad to have you on board.

Hmm thats an interesting one as i manage to hear hal ok, maybe thats because ive been playing with him for years tho?
