Well i really dunno what to say at the moment...  As to many things happening now and to much to follow..

But i maked this topic to say that dMr is comming to a point to fall apart.

There are a few members already talking about leaving and are looking around for a new place.
It scared me a bit but at the other hand can't really blame them.

I have spoken to a few and there was nothing i could do to make up their minds. I hope they give it a few days to think about etc. But that is a thing we will notice soon enough i think....

as already said i dunno what to really say about things going on...

gijs

well if its the frustration of not having yogg on farm yet then swha....its the ONLY Boss (apart from Algalon) we havent killed yet.

I think we have made some nice steps forward on the progress ladder and i dunno what else they want..im happy at the moment and havent heard anyone say they wanted to leave the guild..ofc Garrit leaving may have opend the door for others to follow (PLS this not negative towards Garrit in ANY way)..time will tell.

I dont blame anyone for leaving btw...its everybody's choice to move on for what ever reason.

FYI im happy and not thinking about leaving :yahoo:.

Well i dont think we are gunna blow ourselfs up in the near future ... Yes we have some people unhappy with raid progress. Tho all im seeing is people venting frustration. If people think other guilds are more for them then hey good luck. I know where ill be. We are startring to get a solid 25 team for the first time since the start of dmr. WE have all but 2 bosses on farrm and the next step is hard modes. What im saying is we have not stalled at all, we are moving forward its just slow. In SoG, MC, dMr i have seen people go to find that raiding pot of gold and lets face it most end up back with us.

I think this is a storm in a tea cup.

Right now the CLs and Council need to be uniting and pushing positive messages of progress to the members about how DMR will succeed.   The loss of Garrit will not tip DMR over the edge and the guild will succeed.  Garrit already showed this by not raiding for a fortnight and DMR got Anub down in that period (also with Gandalf).  The loss of Jim will not make any difference either.  So DMR have already shown they are bigger than any one person.

The DKP system is showing some attendance improvements and that will have an impact on progress, but at the end of the day it is down to individual effort for the collective success, if people do not buy into the personal effort part then that's where the problems lie and they need to be replaced.

DMR have progressed since WotLK came out and are one boss away from a clear of all bosses.  Yes there are challenges beyond normal modes, but seeing & deafeating all the content has got to be the primary goal.

DMR have enough to raid and enough to progress, if people commit to it and want it.

I hope you don't mind me commenting in here but I just wanted to let you know that the people that are shouting the loudest are not representitive of all of the raiders.  I was chatting to a couple of the members last night who raid regularly and are happy with the progress we are maiking and don't understand what all the fuss is about.  Since I've started raiding we've made progress in just about every raid i've been in (and I've only missed one).

The enjoyment factor has been great for me in recent weeks as there has been more encouragement from you guys, rather than the shouting and negativity we had when I first started.

In a nutshell, your doing a great job! now lets get on and clear Ulduar. :)

Yeah we can and will be fine, But a few people have to calm down first now.

I hope we have enough online tonight to raid as i think a good raid will help to blow off some steam for some people.

Yes i agree, if ppl wanna leave fine but sad, from my point of view the progress has only gotten better. I really hate to see a chain effect, but i like to think DMR are not like the rest of the guilds for me DMR will be the last place for me in WOW i will not change guild at any point or for what ever reason my hearth is in here and there are no doubt.
So for all who wanna leave keep this in mind you might find a guild that clears content a bit quicker but normally that means yelling, name calling, no life but raiding and the feeling of only a pawn in a game that are moved out when needed.
But we cant change ppl's mind's if they are set on it, and more all if we have 2-5 raiders that i thinkin of leaving they will do bad job in our raids as they dont have the hearth with them, only dedicated ppl kill stuff.
Well no doubt about we need to talk to the people who wanna leave and be sure thats what they want, because no need to stay in DMR if you dont want but if only reason is because u wanna try raid faster please think about it some more because u might regret it big time.

And to Jim i really dont hope you leave mate i really like you maybe i dont say a lot but no doubt you done great for the guild, and you are a very nice person.
