Amazingly not a long winded waffle about this film.

• It's an exercise in CGI amazingness
• CGI is commonplace, easy to do and therefore not that impressive any more, so super special effects cannot hold a film up on their own. :sad:
• The story is nonsense :sad:
• The main characters are dull and not very good :sad:
• John Cusack is in it
• It's directed by Roland Emmerich who did Independence Day but also Godzilla :sad:
• It's a lot more like Godzilla than Independence Day :sad:
• It's crap :sad:

Wait for it to come out on Blue Ray. Buy cheap beer, cheesy Dorito's, watch with mates and enjoy. Don't blow Ã,£10 for a cinema ticket and a whole evening on it, it's not worth the effort. Go and see The Men Who Stare at Goats instead.

If you take a good look at Independence Day, you will realise that movie is actually pretty crap aswell

Not crap, but, well I could have done a better job, (i think) it has so much potential, but its way to long with to many little stories. Why does there always have to be a broken family right before a major disaster, so lame, didn't add to the film at all, and it lengthened it way to much.

Hmm, dont'even buy blue ray, dvd is good nuff. And I wouldn't waste money on cheap beer, buy proper ones, or get a soda!. But yeah you should watch it on dvd rather then in the cinema.

Crap is harsh I'll admit. It's very average and was clearly made to make huge amounts of cash.
