In Game Comms

I know that the in game comms are not great at the moment.  Even when they work the quality is not great.  We should be using them as much as possible.  Especially when you are in a squad with members of the public.  I have heard several times people saying they donââ,¬â,,¢t use them and have them switched off!!  *** why the hell would we not be using them.  We want to get some of these people to come and join us.  Great start by not even saying hello.  I think part of the rules needs to be a suggestion to use the in game comms to talk to people.  I use the in game comms a lot.  I donââ,¬â,,¢t often get much back though.  Hopefully the quality will get better.  I am not sure whether there is a config setting MP can change to improve it or we need to wait on dice.

They 'seem' to be.  I was hearing I think it was blunt last night.  Also a different button to TS push to talk is good.  The default push to talk button in game is left alt.

I try to use the game comms for team orders etc. especially with pubbies on the squad.
Part of the reason people used to come play with us is because of our use of comms; some regular pubbies (CoD4 & CS:S) have gone out and bought mics so that they can join in the teamplay more.

I'm still not sure whether the comms can be heard all of the time, or if it's like cs where you can't hear dead people. Also are you just talking to your squad like in BF2 or is it your whole team?

You can't hear dead people (i hear dead people all the time....) the same as you can't type when dead.  I must be getting better I now know about 7 people by voice. :doh:

Blunt, it seems it only involves the squad your in and not the entire team.
