Raider Feedback for Thurs with OVO

Hey All,
 
Really want some feedback good or bad from Thursday nights raid with the OVO guys.
 
Think they gonna be a good fit ?
 
Think we can work together for the good of dMr ?
 
Gutted they got the phat dps ? (that one's for me and sheep only ok !)
 
Wanna know how we gonna get it together and make it work ?
 
Worried about DKP ?
 
Proper Stoked, it was a blast, Gib nao !!!!
 
Lets get some opinions here please guys n gals, its your guild and we wanna do the right thing, alot to sort but we'll keep our 25's going strong !  and everyone we spoken to so far is such a great fit. No ego's or epeens just a kill stuff attitude from some stand up guys !.
 
If you were there let's have your side, if you weren't well lets have your side as well !
 
 Good things gonna happen....lets do it together, we lost a few, now (hopefully !) we gonna push on with Cataclysm in mind  !

After last nights performance i would say yes, but its gonna be a trial and error situation until we can let both guilds benefit

No way, i showed them how its done :boxing: Nah its great to see people work to their full potential and pull out the numbers

Well only how its gonna work for raids, same as last night i presume? Inv everyone then adjust accordingly.... are we working with Ovo just for ICC 25 or are we doing other stuff with them? Maybe doing /join dMrOvo or something so that way both guilds can talk to each other

No im only on 3 :roflmao: But whatever happens with how the loot is dealt i'll happily agree to it

The raid performance all round was very good.. pace was good tho we had a slow start..The attitude was good and they mixed in well with our existing members making for a nice friendly raid

First things first: it was a nice raid overall.

They seem to be fit for our gameplay, with this i mean they're about at the same point we are, and this means noone is bosting anyone. It's a mutual help or, like biologists would say, a promising symbiosys.

About the good of DMR, this is a more edgy point. I feel this cooperation like a double edged sword. Let me explain. If we continue our raiding relationship with the OVO guild, there's a chance we're going to get "addicted" to it, meaning we will not be able to form a proper guild-only coordinated 25 men group (and i'm telling you this with cataclysm in mind, like you said). This means we will depend on them for our progress, as much as they will depend on us for theirs. I've experienced this kind of relationship in TBC, where the step from 10 men to 25 men was much more stressing. The result was that the first guild managing to form a good 25 men group left the other in some troubles. However, this may be the best short term solution for our progress.

About the fact that they outplayed us... well this is (patially) true for the dps :narnar: In fact DMR healing rocks (and when you see the logs, keep in mind i was the one with the crappiest gear out there, which brings us to the next point).

About the looting rules, i was saving up all the dkp i could, to go there and bid everything on [ITEM]50028[/ITEM], since i'm still using the weapon i won on our very first mimiron 10 men kill with the pioneer group back in august last year (yes, i've been quite unlucky). So i'd like to know if we're going back to the need/greed rolls, and just reset the dkp, or if there will be some new system. I want to be honest, i don't mind in the slightest losing gear to people in the guild since i know it is for the good of the raid group, but i'd rather avoid it going outside (i know i'm being selfish here, but i can't help it, sorry).

In short, to draw the lines of this cooperation and to set a good bunch of rules, you need to know for how long you want this to go on, and how much you want to invest in this relationship with the OVO.

We are currently running a one week trail and we do not plan on having a long term alliance, we would want to get together as one guild.
