TS3 or In-game?

I tried in-game comms with Tanales the other day and ran it for a couple of hours and it worked fine with no quality issues.  This begs the question why are we on TS still?

It does work sometimes and then it doesn't.

my experience is that the in game comms are very low and thus hard to hear..

Just as a follow up. I used the in-game comms tonight and they worked quite well initially. I'm not sure how it fares when the server is full however.

And yet on Monday night it was sporadic, working early on then not when I tried it later with Paddy.

Have to say that it's really kack. Hopefully it'll get sorted soon as it can't go on like this intermittently. It's also kack that you can't talk to your team or that admins can address the server as a whole.

It's fundamental to its success really so fingers crossed.

As Ninja say it was working tonight for a bit. And I started having some troubles with it later before I turned it off in favour of TS3.

In-game is definitely the way to go. It brings people in, though with it working badly just doesn't suit us at the moment. We'll have to keep an eye on it if any patches come out because I really do hope they fix it.

I'm sorry I don't understand. What is wrong with teamspeak? I love the banter and thefact that one belongs to a 'gang'. I dislike team stacking. I do ingame speak whenever it works and I want to recruit. Why is Teamspeak seen as bad. Personally I wonder why members play an do not join teamspeak.

Help me understand please.

The MASSIVE thing that is wrong with TS3 is that we're the only ones on it.

The game is meant to attract new players to the community too and if we're safely cocooned in our TS server that they do not know about then we're silent and unfriendly people.  If OTOH a player arrives on the server and hears good quality comms & squad banter they might like it, get involved, get to know us, start to become a regular and finally get more involved with the community.  That's why in-game comms are important to use when the quality is there.

I agree with that. I use both, if in-game is working that is.
