I have read on the interwebs some time ago (over a year, as it first came out) about this Nvidia 3d vision goggles, and while it looked intresting it was hard to come by and fairly expensive monitors where required.

Since then the price of the monitors came down and the goggles are cheaper too. So now i am wondering if its any good. Id like to know if any of you have experience with this system. Is it worth upgrading my screen for and forking out the 100ish quid to buy the goggle kit?

For more info on this system, see here

A friend of mine who does computer science is doing his project on these. Apparently he's blown up 3 graphics cards. Not sure if it's just really bad luck, his computer being bad for graphics cards, or the technology itself, but it seems still early days.

tried it at small expo a few weeks ago, and cant say im impressed..

in fast paced gaming like racing and fps shooters like BC2 the image got blurry and seemed to ghost a lot when a lot of movement was going on.

in time they will get it right im sure, but for now i wouldnt put to much thought into it

Read a lot of reviews and its seems that most of the blur is to light (artificial or natural), and changing the depth ratio is supposed to clear it up a lot. However, since i am not in a possition to test it any where near where i live more information would be highly appreciated.
