Ok atm WolfCon is running 3 messages:

Use ingame comms or register at Deadmen.co.uk for TS3 info! Every 15 mins.
If you like it here, then join us at Deadmen.co.uk! Every 25 mins.
Join Squads and play fair!! Every 20 mins.

What im asking is:

*What else should be said?
*How often should the current or new ones be said?
*Is there anything wrong with the current ones?

I think the messages should be more frequent then the times set above, maybe 10 mins for the longest gap.

Also, is it possible to group our rules together in one message but they appear on separate lines?

Can I get your feedback on the following server messages? I would like to replace those with this set:

   Dead Men Walking ââ,¬â€œ The Original since 1996! - Every 25 min

  Server Rules:
  1. You Must Join a Squad
2. No Spawn Raping Uncapable Bases (applies to all modes except SDM)
3. No Spawn Camping (this will get you kicked if you do it too much)
4. No Vehicles until Server Reaches 5v5
- Can we get all of the server rules in one message? - Every 10 Minutes

  Take your game to the Next Level ââ,¬â€œ Register at deadmen.co.uk and get on TeamSpeak!! - Every 20 minutes

  We Reserve the right to kick to make room for registered members! - Every 20 Minutes

  Admins are on the Server. Shout ADMIN for assistance. - Every 15 minutes

  Add Deadmen.co.uk to your Server Favourites! - Every 30 Minutes

Also:

Is it possible to have the Welcome Message include the player's name?

Please feed back over the weekend. I'd like to make the change on Monday.

Like It. Just think it should be more frequent really. How about halving all the times?

Really good NF, should work nicely. And Lion the thing is, you really dont want your left side of the screen to be full of server messages all the time since tbh in the heat of battle of a Rush map you really dont see how time flies.

Looked into it a bit more: We can have an unset number of messages just the timeing is the issue and yes, we can have the server rules in 1 message. It would be a Continuous message instead of a Timed one.

And adding the name to the WM, dono about that, tried it but turned out wrong. But then again why does the name matter in the WM, it only shows for the player that joined and tbh a player knows that she/he joined the server the moment "join" was clicked.

I'll continue to look into the name in the WM. Also, is it possible for the WM to be said to everyone? That would make it more welcoming to the new players... (I'll look into that too!).
