Cancelled 25 mans?

I can see from the logs last night that we had our mains in the 25 mans, it would have been nice if it had been posted here that the decision had been made to cancel 25 mans to save me looking silly in main forum (not that I need any help for that) :flirty:

I know we discussed that we would probably have to run 10 mans but I didn't think a final decision had been made.  Someone who knows what is going on should really post up in the members area as if I'm confused then who knows what everyone else thinks.

It was also mentioned by Bell that the run might continue tonight....:blink:

EDIT: I've just gone into WoW and can see that the raids have all been removed from the calendar and a message posted that no 25 man raids this week.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post something on the forum!  Are we not at least running some 10 mans?

Sorry for the confusion I popped on last night and canceled the 25 man for 1 week to get the attendance sorted... I also popped "25 man now pugable in the guild info to allow people to get saved" with the reset

As for 10 man yes tonight I want to try to get a second strong team to continue from blood queen where we got to the other day...

I didn't expect a 25 man to be set up tbh after the crys of "we want to progress and we don't want to raid with undergeared or under skilled players" tho the call of loot must have been too strong... I have 2 trains of thought on it .. the first is that its good we can get this going on an off night ... The 2nd is that it's a kick in the teeth for the people who have been turning up to when not enough sign up. A lot of social in there if it runs for a week I would be very surprised

Is it time to reduce or stop the 25 man raids .... I don't think its fair to ask people to turn up and call them. I'm sure we all have better things to do than sit around and wait for people to turn up. At the moment it feels like it's not worth the effort people are putting in. Couple that with the problem that most of our best members will not join them makes me think it's just not worth it. Being honest im ready to kick the whole thing into touch and go do my own thing as the countless moans / excuses im getting just stop the whole thing being fun

I'm somewhat surprised at the lack of response to this post.  I know peopel are busy and some have just got back from holiday, but this is important.  Can we please get some feedback and some plans formulated?

I agree with JAS completely and share his feelings on the current situation. we have a serious problem and the only way I can see to resolve it is to get new members into the guild and lots of them.  The issue is that even if we did get fresh blood in, we need them to have gear good enough for the final two bosses in ICC and the hard modes that would follow (not the basic i232 we set out in recruiting).  Most of the regular raiders don't want to farm ICC to upgrade a new raid team as we want to see new content, not the same 6-10 bosess until Cata is released.  I don't see an easy answer to this unless we can find another guild to bring on board as happened with ovo.  

In the short term we could stop the 25 mans and concentrate on ICC 10  man hard modes and RS 10 man and at the same time work to increase the number of active raiders.  We should all be doing our bit to try and accomplish this, many hands make light work....

I have been thinking about this post for a while now as i wanted to have some time to try to come up with some idea's, ive pretty much drawn a blank, I do agree with what whithey is saying.
