Concern: Communication of ICC 10 mans (again) who runs them? Does the signing up policy mean anything. Why does it take so long to resolve spots (Turning up late and you can get a place before those waiting won't help)
Is the pursuit of HC fair on the core of the guild, would the guilds main/only run be going for HC mode if those that currently in it didn't have the normal LK acheivment?
The lack of support to get a 2nd run going,
Probably more players in guild left out than were left in. Can the HC runs be ran on non raiding nights (i know this locks them)
Causes: Subjective view of the guild, i.e. not looking beyond own objectives
Countermeasure: Answers please.

I really enjoy dmr and feel a bit sad :( I know 10 man is 10 man i.e. only 10 can get in but...we have 20 odd on line and could be more inclusive.

i agree with you sith i'm thinking of having a break till cata , not a lot of point logging on at the moment , cant see me being in a lk kill or anything so might as well go on break till cata:

hey guys, before reading this we were actually discussing this and other things as well.

It has only been one week since we changed focus from 25 to 10, there will be a transition period, we are looking at gettign as many people through to the kingslayer as possible, but we have been in a trasnistion week and it has been difficult with all the back room stuff going on.

The 10 mans are now run by the officers as these are now official raids, as they have not been official raids in the recent past.

We have been working at getting a few heroic modes under our belts this week as (selfishly for a few of us I know) we needed it to boost our confidence and our desire in the game again. next week I hope to be getting a group togehter that will be kill LK including (i would hope) half a group that hasnt done it before, basically we will be looking to get through another couple of heroic modes then switching to normal to kill LK ( at least this is what I grabbed from the short convo after the raid tonight).

I know that it has not been ideal this week, please bear with us, it is in check - please be a little patient as we need to get our sh.t togehter a bit as officers, we were taken a LOT by surpirse and a HELL of a LOT by shock with a few members buggering off

The problems we have almost always come down to attendance or a lack of it .. Some nights it looks great with a fantastic pool of players to get a run going and bingo we are off and fighting. Now what looks great on 1 night a week soon causes a problem when the next raid comes along, we still need that pool. We are at a point in ICC where the raid balance IS important. To keep that running through the week we need 15+ members signing up not getting locked. We only just have that at the moment look at the raiding page. So if we split into 2x10 runs we get a single night of raiding with little or no chance of running through the week.

So we are looking at options on how to best get everyone involved that wants to be. People want different things from the game and getting that balance is not as easy as it would seem on paper. suggestions are welcome btw :)

My first concern is to get the people raiding that have and are putting in the effort. If I see attendance stable enough for 2 teams then hey let's do it

Some suggestions so far ..

We run 2 groups on different evenings (That way people can help if a team is short)
We set up a rotation (requires a lot of admin but could be done)
We hold raids till cata (I don't think anyone wants that)

While this is going on we are still trying to fill the spots to get the 25 mans up and running again as we only have LK to kill

The only way to do that just now is in ICC 10 and we need the socials who can commit to raiding at least 2 nights a week to shout up so that we can see there is a demand for it.  The option JAS mentions regarding running 2 groups on different nights would be a good way of doing the gearing up as we could have well geared alts helping in the run if we don't have enough mains.

We need to balance the needs of the members that have put in a lot of time getting to hard modes as well as the social members who need gear and experience of the fights on normal before they can attempt them
