SC2 - Activity?

So, need to game to play online and rts would be the game of choice.  I already have it, yet I don't have it.. *cough*

Is the SC2 community active as-in daily/day-on day-off?

I suppose you mean the DMR SC2 community? Well I try to play every evening myself, and I think the others are on a lot too. We're ... 5 or 6? active people I think. Personally I can't play on fridays/saturdays/most of sundays cause I'm at my parents' house then (no PC). But otherwise yea I'm around Mostly not during the day though cause of Uni stuff.

The forums aren't as active as I hoped it be (must say atm its party my fault, as I have nothing usefull to post in new topics, and without many response on the others, activity won't rise), but we have a couple players online everynight, up til 8 on a very busy evening I think, so thats pretty nice.

There aren't any activities towards a specific night yet, I believe there might be some ears towards set up 3v3s or 4v4s maybe, or a dead man 4 vs random.
But atm i'm to busy to organize such a thing (next week I'll have more time, and otherwise definitely after the LAN)
Thouhg I was thinking about it for a while now, but also decided to wait a bit, so that people can finish up the single player and challenges etc. and we hopefully gain a few more members. And again more activity on the forums would help finding out what people want, and can

Problem is you can't really organise anything in the game, unless it's custom games which are unranked and may not be as interesting. The only ranked type of game is quick match, which is basically "Ok, here's us. Find us a few opponents and a map to play on."
You can make premades, as in 2, 3, 4 DMRs, which is what we've been doing for now, but you get pitched against other premades all the time as far as I know. That's not bad per se, but it's not like you can just play against random if you want.

Guys, I have problems here.

Bought the game, installed and updated.

Whilst in-game (loading page, menu and movies) screen flickers continually between normal colours and normal colours and a greenish tint.  Issue happens whilst SLI is enabled.  Current driver was installed via safemode after driver sweep of previous version in safemode.

Using the latest drivers and they work perfectly with every other game.  Temperature is normal (monitoring with everest + lcd).  Tried the fame cap fix just in-case and still nothing.

Tried to capture the issue with a fraps screenshot but it ain't showing on the pics.

Problem was non-existent with an unpatched scene release.

I have heard of people getting issues in the menu's specifically, where the menu's have no default fps limit. Some gfx cards would hang up or experience other problems due to being overloaded with keeping up with the (unlimited) fps. You can fix this by manually setting the fps limit in a .cfg file, but I can't remember off the top of my head what it was. Let me look it up.

EDIT: Found it!

Go into your Documents > StarCraft II folder and find the Variables.txt file and add the following lines on the end of it

frameratecap=60
frameratecapGlue=30

Another option you can toy with is turning on or off your Vsync.

Right, mind bulb switched on and told me to turn the SLI bridge around.

Green flickering thingy was happening on DAO, Borderlands and Company of heroes too.

And, it worked.
