My situation :)

PC, i have MSN 6 on here...

LAPTOP< i have MSN 6 on here, BUT, on here i've got it also login into my .NET PASSPORT, so it logs me out of MSN on my PC.

What i need to find out is how to remove the passport from the User Account on the laptop, BUT, it doesn't have that option, so i THINK its somewhere in registry or summat

can n e one help me??

I can help you by transferring this to the right topic.  As to your problem, I hate MSN so know little about its intricacies and therefore can't help.  Hopefully other, more knowledgeable than me, people will assist you in due course.

Not sure about all OS's but here is how to fix XP:

Open "Control Panel"
Go to "User Accounts"
Click on the "Advanced" tab
Click on the "Manage Passwords" button

You will now see lots of login details stored against your user profile with details relating to "Passport" marked as such. Just highlight the details you would like to remove and then click on the "Remove" button

HTH?

I'm afraid m8, that does not help me.
i have no tab options...

This LAPTOP has XP Home if that makes a difference.
in the User Accounts sectoin i have:
choose a user, i obviously choose the user, then there is:

Change my name
Create a password
Change my picture
Change my account type
Change my .NET Passport

But, just jumping ahead incase you ask, theres no "remove" option in the change my passport, i'd have to create a new one. but i dont see why i should? i just want to remove it:P

Anymore ideas please?

Found this. Hopefully it will do the trick...

If you do not want to be signed in with your Microsoft .NET Passport automatically, you can remove your .NET Passport as the default password on that computer.

On Windows XP Professional:

Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Click User Accounts.
On the Advanced tab, click Manage Passwords.
In the Stored User Names and Passwords dialog box, click Passport.Net\*(Passport), and then click Remove.
In the Stored User Names and Passwords box, click OK.
Click Close, and then, in the User Accounts dialog box, click OK.
This does not delete your Passport, but it will eliminate automatic sign-in every time you use your computer.

On Windows XP Home Edition:

Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Click User Accounts.
Click the picture that is associated with your account.
Under Related Tasks, click Manage my network passwords.
In the Stored User Names and Passwords dialog box, click Passport.Net\*(Passport), and then click Remove.
In the Stored User Names and Passwords box, click OK.
Click Close.
